Victorian Bowls League

Congratulations to the Sebastopol Burra’s for making the finals week of VBL2.

Our campaign was off to a slow start on the Friday night with a loss to the Vic Storm, however the team hit their straps on the Saturday with 2 great wins over the Yarraville Dogs and the Dandenong Pulse .

Congratulations to Chris Young, Brenton Coad, Ben McArthur, Scotty Roberts and Will Matthews on a terrific effort. Many thanks to our manager Mick McDonnell who did all the behind the scenes stuff and what an effort for our supporters to make the trek to Dandenong to support our team. Well done all!!

60 Years of Membership.

Life member, Les Curtain has been a member of the Sebastopol Bowling Club for 60 Years. What an effort!!

Les has played countless pennant matches for the club and has worked tirelessly as a volunteer around the club.

He is the pure definition of a clubman.

It was great to see Les at the 2022-2023 Presentation Dinner where he was acknowledge for his service.

Bowls for Schools Program

The Sebastopol Bowling Club has a ‘Bowls for Schools’ program

Many Schools visit the Sebastopol Bowling Club and receive bowls coaching.

All coaches are accredited with ‘working with children’ certificates and the program benefits many.

The interaction between generations is fantastic for both and the benefit being involved in sport cannot be under estimated.

From the Club’s point of view, we are very excited about exposing a new generation to a great sport and past time.
